Autumn Topic

Where do the leaves go in the winter?

The children in Year 1 have had lots of fun today printing autumn leaves.

We made Gingerbread Men using salt playdough and we are looking forward to decorating them in Elf School.

Homework

This will consist of a half termly project.

Weekly spellings will be sent home every Friday.

Reading 

Please try to read each night with your child. It will really help them to progress in all curriculum areas.

Currently, we are reading The Naughty Bus for our Topic and we are also reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as our class reader. 

P.E/Swimming 

P.E will take place on a  Wednesday and Thursday.

Our P.E kit includes the following:

• White polo shirt
• Navy blue shorts
• Black pumps 

​During the colder months children can also wear the following:

• Dark tracksuit bottoms 
• School jumper
