What a fantastic day we had for our summer fair! The sun shone, not a cloud in the sky and we made lots of lovely money for our children! Job done......but this wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the dedication of our amazing PTA who seem to have energy and ideas by the bucket load. The planning started about ten minutes after the last one finished so there was plenty of time to put ideas into play and make it the best yet.

Everybody was given a stall to look after and, at 8am on the morning of the big day, we set out our stalls and activities ready for our friends, family and neighbours to join us at the 11am grand opening.

There were raffles to win food, drink and luxury goods. We had two bouncy castles, a football game, prize basketball, soak the teacher, bric-a-brac, face painting, ice cream, sweets, cakes, BBQ, lucky dip, hook-a-duck and many,MANY more.....phew!

We couldn't have done it without our friends from the Territorial Army and the Scouts that gave up their time to showcase their facilities. We are hoping that the TA will be able to come into school again to hold some more exciting activities for our children to join in with.

A special thank you goes to our wonderful staff for giving up a day off to come and help at the fair and braving the hot sunshine to stand out for hours on their stalls/activities.

The money raised topped last years total and then some.....the final figure was £1,900! Well done EVERYBODY! See you again next year!
