Welcome to our Home Learning Zone. School is now shut due to the Corona Virus pandemic.

Your child's class teacher has set individual work for your child which can be  found under the Class Pages tab and then click on the relevant class.

Please log onto the 'Oxford Owl at Home' website and click the 'Kids' section. There are lots of interactive activities linked to phonics, reading, times tables, number bonds and many more, to help support you at home whilst schools are closed. 

 

Physical and Mental Wellbeing

Writing

Jane Considine is the author of 'The Write Stuff'. She will be delivering free English lessons every weekday live from YouTube.

  • Visit the above YouTube account every morning at 9:45am ready for Jane's live broadcast where she announces the focus of the day.
  • Return for her second livestream at 10:30am where she will do a short teaching session and issue the task.
  • Carry out the task as instructed by Jane. 
  • Share the work on social media using the hashtag #SuperSentenceStacker.
  • Jane will then review the submissions and put them together to make the full story and she reads it out as a class reading session at 3:30pm

The first live stream, which will begin with a performance of A Squash and Squeeze, gets underway at 4pm on Thursday.
