Your child’s class teacher has set individual work for your child, which can be found in their Google Classroom
Remote Learning provision (from 4.1.21)
Please refer to the timetable below and policies included for how learning should be taking place at home. Our tasks are uploaded daily at 6:30pm, ready for the next day. They should be completed by the end of the school week, however this learning will remain on Google Classroom should you need to refer back to tasks for any reason. As a school we have decided against live lessons because we feel that that time wise it is too constrained to your day-to-day demands. Instead we have opted for online videos provided by The Oak academy, Oxford Owl and White Rose Maths, along with many other high quality resources.
Once tasks have been completed, they should then be uploaded to Google Classroom. Class Teachers will then provide feedback on screen. This will consist of a positive comment, and a next step/target to enable your child to progress with their learning.
Please email your child’s Class Teacher on the email address below should you need any guidance with remote learning. This includes any technical support, but also any motivation that your child may need from staff at school. As always we want the very best for your child.
We would also like to take this opportunity to say well done to parents and carers at home. These are very difficult times and we understand how challenging it is to balance the different pressures of life with supporting your child with learning at home.

Well-being of pupils
We recognise that pupils will miss the social interaction that usually takes place. In addition to the weekly phone calls home from their teacher, Google Meet sessions will take place twice a week from the start of February. Staff are currently receiving training around this to enable this to work in the best way. This will give the children an opportunity to not only have contact with their teacher and friends, but to also discuss their learning in person. Teachers will also address any difficulties or misconceptions with tasks during this time.
The acceptable user agreement will follow over the coming weeks. This will ensure that all pupils comply with the rules and remain safe.
Critical worker/Vulnerable pupil provision
Pupils who are eligible to currently be at school will be completing the same learning as the pupils at home. They are placed in phase bubbles and will be taught by Class Teachers/supported by Teaching Assistants. Pupils will receive feedback for completed tasks the same as what the pupils at home will receive. This will be combined with verbal feedback and direct teaching.
During this time, school operates 9:00am - 3:00pm and pupils should wear their own clothes and bring a water bottle and a snack to school.
For critical workers, this provision should only be accessed when there is no other option for your child to be at home. If school have identified a particular child as vulnerable, they will be offered a place. This is in line with government guidance set out by the Department for Education.
