Safer Internet Day 2019
We have been using drama to explore internet safety issues, such as talking to strangers online, discussing how we can protect ourselves and stay safe.
Knowsley Safari Visit
We were lucky enough to have a visit from Knowsley Safari Park today. They taught us how we can make wildlife friendly spaces and we even got to design our own wildlife areas for our playground. The rangers helped us to make seed bombs which we took home to plant in our gardens! We are really excited to go to the safari park in April and help them develop their wildlife spaces.
Science & DT Week
We have been working hard together to create our own solar system! We have made each of the planets and the sun and moon, making sure they were all to scale. Did you know that the biggest planet is Jupiter!
NASA Letter Writing!
As part of our Earth and Space topic, we have been writing persuasive letters to NASA Headquarters to persuade them against using animals in their space development programme.
Year 5 really enjoyed the first 'Safari Session' with the staff from Chester Zoo.
